I ramped up my photography while spending a lot of time out on the professional cycling scene. I loved shooting the races, riders and equipment and expanded that into shooting for my current job. As I progressed, so did my client list and before I knew it, I was published in magazines, catalogs and corporate collateral.
After leaving that position, I missed the people and events I was able to shoot and started trying to learn other areas of photography. I expanded into portraits, weddings and deeper into commercial work.
Today I have the chance to shoot many different types of events, people, places and things. I love the story behind each one, and capturing the moments that will bring smiles to these people forever.
While I am always looking to learn more, I also enjoy teaching what I have learned in photography to others. For over 5 years I have run photo meetups to teach lighting, posing, camera operation, etc in the Atlanta photo community via my group SNAP: Social Network of Artists & Photographers.
I am fortunate to have 3 great studios to partner with in the Metro Atlanta area in Buford, Alpharetta and Midtown. Each one has unique characteristics and offers a different personality; just like the people and things I get to shoot.
When not behind the lens, I enjoy cycling, mountain biking, playing guitar, working on classic cars and motorcycles, playing golf and dominating at trivia and mini-golf.
